Overnight Crime Report: Carjacking

The New Orleans Police Department saw just one crime hit the city on Tuesday (9.12). According to the Major Offense Log (MOL), the NOPD responded to a carjacking.


At 3:13AM, a 33-year-old man was standing next to his car on the 8200 block of Nelson St. when two unknown men approached him from behind. The man was hit in the back of the head, and the perps fled in his gold 2001 Buick Le Sabre.
