The New Orleans Police Department saw three crimes hit the city on Tuesday (8.22). According to the Major Offense Log (MOL), the NOPD responded to two aggravated burglaries and one aggravated robbery.
At 6:04PM, three unknown armed men kicked in the front door of an 18-year-old man's residence on the 900 block of Deslonde St. The trio went into the teen's bedroom and pistol-whipped him, before stealing some property. The perps then fled on foot.
A 40-year-old man was working on a house at the intersection of Painters St. and N. Dorgenois St. when two unknown men approached at 7:05PM. One of the subjects pulled out a weapon, and ordered the man to hand over his keys. He complied, and the duo fed inside of his blue 2006 Chevy Silverado northbound of Painters, then unknown.
At 2:22AM, three unknown men forced their way inside of a 22-year-old man's room on the 9300 block of Airline Hwy. The victim was tied up and beaten with a stick, before the trio stole his property and fled the scene.
