Emma Boyce has been working at the NOLA Defender for approximately thirty-two hours. She's an avid horseback-rider, and doesn't want us to tell you that she went to Tulane. A New Orleans native, her favorite drink is a gin and tonic and her favorite man is tall, dark, and drunk. Emma plans to pursue a graduate degree in creative writing, but in the meantime is enjoying a sabbatical and working as a intern-journalist for the Defender. She hopes to give a born-and-bred local's insight into the town, and figure out what the heck she's doing with her life.
