The Swing Ball starts at 6 p.m. Friday at the Southern Food and Beverage Museum - where the MOTAC is housed - and features many of New Orleans' best drinking enablers all in one place.
The lineup for the evening includes Chris McMillian of Bar Uncommon, French 75's Chris Hannah, Rhiannon Enlil and Nick Detrich of Cure, Kim Patton-Bragg of Tamarind, Steve Yamada of Victory Bar, Lu Brow of the Swizzle Stick Bar, Abigail Gullo of the soon-to-be-opened SoBou, Geoffrey Wilson of LOA, Christine Jeanine Neilson of the Windsor Court Lobby Bar, Lucinda Weed of Sylvain ,Jeremy Thompson of Eiffel Society, and LRG Properties local beverage director Star Hodgson.
If that's not enough, there's food, too, from Windsor Court Hotel, Cure, Cafe Adelaide, Mila, Arnaud's, Maurepas, and Tamarind. Still need more? How about music from Meschiya Lake and the Little Big Horns, and a piano bar.
