Walk Your Brass Off (Howlin Wolf, 7pm) The "Walk Your Brass off with the Honorable South" starts tonight to kickoff the New Orleans AIDS Walk! There will be live music from the Hot 8, with Crescent City Derby, and Devils.
Nasimiyu (Allways Lounge, 10pm) The rising singer/pianist is becoming a local favorite with her powerful voice and blend of R&B, rock and soul, and you can catch her tonight on St. Claude.
Love Sessions (Irvin Mayfield’s Jazz Playhouse, 8:30pm) Irin Mayfield's "Love Sessions" continues today, with tonight’s proceeds going towards The New Orleans Chapter of the Links, Inc. Come watch Mayfield and Kermit Ruffins battle on stage in a good ol' fashion truppet duel. Tickets are $22.
Paul Soniat (Pavilion of the Two Sisters, 5pm) Soniat is native who often uses the history of New Orleans, both good & bad, as influences in his work. Tickets will be $10 food & drinks will be available inside.
