Bayou Boogaloo Bayou St. John (All Day) The annual, weekend-long Mid-City fest continues on its first full day! Today's music lineup features Renard Poche Band, Meschiya Lake and Jam-ALL. Read all about Mid-City's other big fest here.
Mahler Symphony No. 9 Mahalia Jackson Theatre (8:00 PM) The La. Philharmonic is set to close out their season with the Long Farewell of the great composer Gustav Mahler. They're also joined by the Symphony Chorus of New Orleans for Brahms' "Song of Destiny." Read more about these two pieces here.
