Slow Food NOLA Supper Bowl (Rock n Bowl, 6:00 PM) The national slow food movement is opening up shop here in Louisiana. This NOLA chapter is partnering with the New Orleans Musicians Assistance Fund to promote ways for all to access good, clean, healthy food. Sharon Olds  (Tulane U - Freeman Auditorium 8:00 PM) The award-winning poet Sharon Olds is the 2012 Arons Visiting Poet at Tulane. With nine volumes of verse under her belt, Olds brings a seasoned, contemporary style to the page. Plus, she helped to found a 900-bed hospital for the severely disabled.
