Today in New Orleans 10.09.12Today, head uptown to stock up on fresh foods at the Crescent City Farmer’s Market. Later on, basketball lovers can check out the Hornets preseason game at the N.O. Arena, and some big indie bands are making stops tonight on their national tours. On this day in Louisiana history (2002) the Hornets played their first preseason game, losing to Indiana. Let’s hope for a different outcome for today’s game against the Bobcats.
