Son Accused in Memphis Murder of New Orleans French Teacher Police say the grisly Memphis murder of a New Orleans French teacher was the work of the victim's son, according to the Memphis Commercial Appeal. The body of Estelle Carron, who recently moved to the Crescent City to teach at Trinity Episcopal School, was found burned in her Cordova, Tenn., house on Sunday. She died as a result of strangulation, the Memphis coroner later ruled. Carron's son Alexandre Kim, 22, was later booked with first degree murder in the case. The teacher's companion told the Appeal that she was always worried about making sure her son was "settled." |
