Saints' Scrimmages

It’s never too early for Who Dat Nation to get ready for some football. On Thursday (4.07), the Saints released their full schedule and plans for the preseason.

The Black n’ Gold will play their first exhibition match against the New England Patriots in Foxboro sometime between August 11-15. Their second matchup will be away against the Texans on a date between August 18-22.

The two away game will allow time for renovations to da’ Dome to be completed. Similar to last year, the team will be training at The Greenbrier in West Virginia until the second preseason game.

The third preseason game will be at home versus the Pittsburgh Steelers between August 25-28. The Saints will host the Ravens on September 1 or 2 in the final warmup before the games count.

Times have not been set for any of the games.

The schedule is similar to 2015’s preseason when the Saints also played the Pats, the Texans, and the Ravens.
