Power Restored to 27,000 Homes
While much of the city is still seeing red about continuing power outages since Hurricane Isaac, some green started to peak through Entergy's online map Friday and Saturday morning, indicating the company that’s become the focus of our attention is making some progress. Power was returned to pockets of central city, the lower garden district, the far reaches of New Orleans East, Mid-City near Banks Street, Uptown around Magazine and below Jefferson, and a host of other areas. The Saturday Morning outage total was about 113,000, down from 140,000 at the Friday afternoon peak. |
