Police Search for Wounded Man in Gert Town Murder (VIDEO)


New Orleans police are searching for a man involved in a Gert Town shooting that left a 21-year-old man dead Monday afternoon.The incident occurred in the 4100 block of Washington Avenue around 2:22 p.m., officials said. Police found Kendall Williams lying on the sidewalk, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds to his face and body. He was declared dead at the scene.

 

Another man, known only as “Kman” or “Caveman” was shot in the leg, but left the scene.

 

Police are looking for “Caveman,” because they believe he may have information about the shooting. He is not a suspect.

 

Homicide detective Gregory Hamilton is in charge of the investigation.
