Overnight Crime Report: Armed Robbery, Shooting

The New Orleans Police Department saw two crimes hit the city on Friday (6.16). According to the Major Offense Log (MOL), the NOPD responded to an armed robbery and a shooting.

At 2:23PM, a 39-year-old man, a 19-year-old male, and 22-year-old woman were in the midst of renovations on a property on the 2700 block of St. Peter St. when an unknown man entered the resident through a side door. The man pulled out a gun and demanded property. The trio complied, and the perp fled in an unknown direction.

At 12:11AM, a 41-year-old man was walking on the 800 block of Felicity St. when a black Mercedes Benz pulled up. According to police, a known subject got out of the passenger’s side and opened fire. The victim was struck by a bullet, and was later transported to the hospital by EMS. He is listed in stable condition. The NOPD did not state if a suspect has been identified at this point in the investigation.
