No VP Run for Jindal He's did his duty when it came to health care and tofu taxes, but the Veepstakes is all over for Bobby Jindal. Mitt Romney chose Paul Ryan as his running mate and pick for Vice Presidential candidate yesterday, going with a Wisconsin Congressman who is about the same age as the Louisiana governor. In the end, Jindal wasn't on the short list of three finalists for the position, reports Politico. In the wake of the announcement, Jindal released the following statement:
"Paul is a good friend and one of the smartest guys I served with in Congress. He has the courage of his convictions, which is what our nation needs." |
