New Orleans Chefs Haul in James Beard Award Nominations


Here in the South's foodie capital, chefs continue to get heaping helpings of recognition from the James Beard Foundation. This year, four out of the five nominees in the category of Best Chef: South are Crescent City Culinary practitioners. Tory MacPhail (Commander's Palace), Alon Shaya (Domenica), Justin Devillier (La Petite Grocery) and John Harris (Lilette) are all nominees in the category, which has crowned New Orleans winners such as Emeril, Besh and Link.
