Music Menches (in the Marigny)
TONITE'S the nite for music and youth, thanks to the New Orleans Bayou Steppers Social Aid and Pleasure Club, the Youth Music Clinic, and Sound Café. Ms. Margie Perez and Youth Music Clinic leader Shamarr Allen (with his Underdawgs) are getting down on 2700 Chartres with some (free) Holiday celebratin’ full of food, drink, and tunes.
This is a cool opportunity to check out the clinic and its work while experiencing Shamarr A. and Margie P. in an utmost intimate fashion.
Clinic’s at 5:30 p.m., followed by da music at 6:30 p.m. Nothin like some social aid and pleasure to warm you up…and a cup a Joe can't hurt either.
