With references to cocktails from "pre-Civil War New Orleans," the Ramos Gin Fizz, and huge ice cubes that seem like they would do the trick on an afternoon when the Heat Index is hovering around 110, New Orleanians can find plenty to relate to in "Mixologist." On the other hand, the coasts can have their laughs during the part about $20 cocktails. Certain things are too frightening to be funny.
