Mettenberger's Mustache Moratorium: LSU QB Loses Lip Tickler In Front of Florida Game While most athletes grow their facial hair in the hope of achieving a goal, Zach Mettenberger has gotten rid of his lip spinach in order to find fortune. The Mett-Stache is no longer.“ The moustache was a great look for me,” Mettenberger said, “but unfortunately we didn’t play too hot the first five games. I’m hoping to bring a different vibe to the offense and some good luck.”
The thicker Mettenberger's moustahce got, the hairier LSU's play became. Hopefully the new clean look on his upper-lip will lead to cleaner play on the field, including less fumbles by Mettenberger and more caught passes by his wide receivers. Maybe the new look signals a new attitude in Baton Rouge, as LSU has a big week of practice in preparation for Florida this weekend. |
