Tonight, Da’ Mayor’s fourth in a series of community meetings is taking place in Lakeview, and District A residents are invited to come speak their minds about 2013’s budget priorities.

In a press release on the issue, Landrieu said that the meetings “allow us to hear directly from New Orleanians on what their budget priorities are.” The Mayor also included that his administration is “committed to producing results for our citizens and sticking to our budgeting principles—cut smart, reorganize, and invest in the future.” 

Mayor Mitch is bringing District A Councilmember Susan Guidry along with him, for residents from parts of Uptown, Mid-City, and Lakeview to voice their concerns. Tonight’s meeting will take place at the Lakeview Christian Center, located at 5885 Fleur De Lis Drive from 6-8pm.

Thirty minutes before each meeting, the city will host a Resource Center, inviting citizens to speak personally with representatives from various departments and agencies. All District A residents are encouraged to join in on the conversation.
