How Brow: Anthony Davis Visits New Orleans Hornets New Orleans has gone high brow today, as would-be Hornets star Anthony Davis is in town to work out with the team. Having won the NCAA Championship here, we know Davis knows his way around the Superdome well. But today he's checking out the Alario Center - where the Hornets work out - and getting an idea for how he'll fit into Tom Benson's other colony. With the Hornets triumphantly secured the top pick, many basketball watchers assume the Hornets will take college basketball's National Player of the Year, but he offered no clues today, only saying that New Orleans is "awesome." Hey thanks for the coenmmt. I've been digging around NBA history and it would appear highly unlikely that Vancouver could rid the Hornets from the name. I guess only if the NBA felt really guilty about how they treated our city they might consider it. I think there has to be solid reasons for allowing a new owner/city a new name.
