FBI Agents Chase CBD Bank Robber by Shay Sokol Just after noon today, a man entered the Chase Bank on 201 St. Charles Ave and handed the teller a demand note, implying he had a gun. He got an undisclosed amount of cash before fleeing. The FBI and NOPD are requesting the public’s assistance in identifying the robber, who was wearing a khaki fishing hat, sunglasses, and a bright yellow construction vest with reflectors.
The robber is described as a light-skinned black male, between 20-25-years-old, and between 5’4”-5’6” in height.
After receiving the cash, the perp fled the bank to Gravier St and headed north.
The Metropolitan Orleans Bank Security Association (MOBSA) is offering a reward of up to $5,000 for information leading to the arrest and indictment of the robber. Anyone with information can call the FBI at 504.816.3000. |
