Eiffel Society Hosts 'Back That Cancer Up,' Young Professionals Night

On St. Charles, happy hour has a bit of networking involved tonight. Tomorrow, they're going all out "for the love of Blood and Boobies." New Orleans Chamber of Commerce will host a Young Professionals Night. Keisha McGee is the chambers marketing and events coordinator and shared about the event, "Young Professionals Night is our event we have two times a year. It's for young people to come out and network with each other and more established professionals, McGee said.

Young Professionals Night will be at Eiffel Society at 2040 St. Charles St. It is a happy hour, (5:30-8:30) with three dollar domestic draft beers and five dollar red and white, house wines. Though the expected age group is 22 and above, all are welcome. McGee highlighted two businesses that will have tables--a photography studio and health and fitnes business---but there will be a total of twelve businesses promoting their ideas and projects.

On Thursday night, the St. Charles spot hosts Back That Cancer Up, a fashion show and concert to benefit blood and breast cancer research. The concert features famed New Orleans rapper Juvenile, along with Rockin' Dopsie, Ron Jones, Jen Gaubert, burlesque dancer Bella Blue and more. A fashion show featuring designs from Tru Colors, Stella and Dot and Fleurty Bee Boutique kicks off at 8 p.m., followed by music at 10 p.m. Tickets are $20 at the door.
