The Doctor is In!

We know that the oil is not gone. However, our friends in Washington seemed to have caught some amnesia... That's the Big Easy's best medical professional is heading North. That's right Dr. John is taking our cause to the Big Chiefs in Washington.

The exact course of his action is unclear, but methinks a concert may be in store, as the the Doctor has lined up a whole gang of big name musicians to join the cause. Not surprisingly, they have all recorded and/or played major shows down here recently. For example, R.E.M., Ozzy Osbourne, My Morning Jacket, and OK GO all make the list. Today, Politico runs a story with some deets which does not excuse their insistence on referring to Dr. J by his actual name, "Rebennack" throughout the article.

I'm sure you guys didn't know, but all the same, he did paint them.
