Woman Alleges Miscarriage of Cajun Justice The latest "real-life" A&E show set on the Bayou is called Cajun Justice, but a woman filmed while being arrested apparently isn't okay settling things outside the dance hall. After she said she was injured by a sheriff's deputy during what could become a segment for the show, Angela Rodrigue sued show's producers and the Terrebone Sheriff's Office. According to the Houma Courier, the Chauvin woman claims in the suit that a sheriff's deputy was goaded on by show producers to act rougher and tougher. A Terrebone Assistant DA suggested the rolling TV cameras may "distract" cops from their duties. With promo materials that call the sheriff a "king," it's tough to tell how it would go to their heads. |
