Broadmoor Shooting Claims Two Lives

The recent crime wave continued on Memorial Day (5.30) morning. Two men were fatally shot at a Broadmoor residence on Monday morning according to the New Orleans Police Department (NOPD).

NOPD PIO Juan Barnes reported that officers responded to an 11:50a.m. 911 call from the 3300 block of General Taylor Street.

When officers arrived on the scene they found a man in his late teens or early twenties bleeding out from multiple gunshot wounds on the porch of a house on the block according to Barnes. The spokesperson said that a second, unidentified man was found inside the house also suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Both men were declared dead on the scene.

Neighbors witnessed an unidentified car speeding off after the gunfire stated authorities.
