Bayou Boogaloo Drops 2017 Lineup

Between this weekend's Sacred Music Festival and BUKU Fest, and the fast-approaching French Quarter Fest and Jazz Fest, the outdoor music season is well underway in New Orleans. Today, the organizers behind the annual Mid-City Bayou Boogaloo announced their lineup for their free fest from May 19th through May 21st. 


R&B singer Cupid, alt-rock band Cracker, and Jon Cleary & The Absolute Monster Gentlemen will headline the 2017 fete. 


Other familiar names on the lineup include Luke Winslow King, The Deslondes, Water Seed, Doombalaya, Stoop Kids, Chris Thomas King, Tank & the Bangas, Marco Benevento, Brownout, New Breed Brass Band, Where Y'acht, Lightnin' Malcolm, Video Age, Pink Magnolias, James Martin Band, Alfred Banks, Kettle Black, Chapter Soul, John the Martyr, Maggie Belle Band, Caesar Brothers Funkbox, Nick Balaban & the N'awlstars, Charlie Wooton Project, Kumasi, Jamaican Me Breakfast Club, The Holy Warriors, and more.
