Founded back in the late oh, oh's, the NOLA Defender is the result of a long night of drinking and speculating about the best strategies for securing love and pleasure in New Orleans.

After much ado, the caucus concluded that contrary to all common sense, the clearest plan for Good would be to create the greatest news-publication New Orleans had ever known.

NoDef features full, daily coverage of hard news, the arts, sports, and all the characters and quirks that make NOLA, NOLA. The Defender promises a gleaming path toward glory to both its readers and its contributors... and some interesting bar talk for everyone else.
