Krewe of Muses Auction Winner Heading to NOLA for the Big Shoe.jpg) by Jeffrey Hill For the third year in a row, the Krewe of Muses auctioned off a ride in their parade on Ebay with all proceeds going to charity. This year’s highest bidder was Michelle Egan, a Talent Manager at a large international law firm from the San Francisco Bay Area, who generously put up $8,900, which will go to the Young Survival Coalition (YSC). Next on the Auction Block: A Ride with the Krewe of Muses.jpg) The Krewe of Muses' waiting list is so long that another mainline krewe was formed out of the people who are on it. But, thanks to the wonders of eBay, the all-female krewe is offering a chance to skip to the front of the line. Bidding is starting at $1,000 for a spot on a float for the Feb. 16 parade, admission to the after-party featuring Joan Jett and the Blackhearts and a small package of throws. The rest of the tossables - including shoes - must be purchased separately.
