Crime was down yesterday according to the Major Offense Log (MOL) for Wednesday (5.40). The New Orleans Police Department (NOPD) responded to a case of domestic violence, a bomb scare, an unclassified death, and fatal Lamborghini accident.


Overnight Crime Report: 2 Rapes, 2 Muggings, Fatal Auto Accident


Tuesday’s (2.16) Major Offense Log (MOL) from the New Orleans Police Department (NOPD) is out. Authorities are investigating two rapes, two muggings, and a fatal car crash.


Alleged Drunk Driver Arrested After Fatal Crash


The prospect of losing your license is frightening, but drunk driving holds the potential for far worse consequences. A 37-year-old is behind bars after allegedly killing another man in a drunk driving accident.


Man Killed in Fatal CBD Wreck


A 39-year-old man died in a car crash in the Central Business Distirct (SBD) on Monday (1.25) morning according to the New Orleans Police department.  


Fatal Crash on I-10


An early morning traffic accident claimed the life of a 21-year-old woman. Three other people were hospitalized as a result of the wreck according to the New Orleans Police Department (NOPD).


Fatal Motorcycle Wreck on I-10


An accident on the highway claimed the life of a motorcyclist on Saturday (1.16) morning. A 36-year-old man form LaPlace was the victim of the fatal wreck according to the New Orleans Police Department (NOPD).


Two Fatal Accidents Mar Holiday


Unfortunately, Christmas has been busy for the NOPD Fatality Unit. Two separate accidents over the last 24 hours have claimed a pair of lives, a pedestrian on the West Bank and a driver in the East.


School of Wreck


In the second major accident of Thursday (10.22) morning, a school bus was involved in a significant crash on Elysian Fields Avenue. No fatalities were reported, but the New Orleans Police Department (NOPD) is on the scene.


Bus Stopped


The boys in blue had one suspect seeing yellow on Wednesday (9.23) morning. A morning car chase ended when the the suspect’s truck slammed into a school bus according to the New Orleans Police Department (NOPD).


Auto Wreck Claims Pedestrian's Life


On Monday (9.21) morning, a traffic accident in Central City claimed the life of a passer-by. According to the New Orleans Police Department (NOPD), the only fatality from the a.m. wreck was a pedestrian in the area.
