I Could Get a Vowel?

For once, SoLa residents will actually get to choose to spin the wheel that will decide their fate this week. Wheel of Fortune is here to tape three week's worth of episodes in three days. Producers undoubtedly took a spin of their own wheel in retuning to NOLA. Last time the gameshow tried to tape on location here five years ago, they were evacuated due to K. No word yet on if the show responded to requests for phrases to follow proper Yat usage.

NOLA Buys a Vowel

By Kat Stromquist

It ain't no “Dancing With The Stars,” but we'll take what we can get: venerable game show Wheel Of Fortune will return to New Orleans for three weeks of tapings in April of next year. The show returns to the city for the first time since Katrina, which makes us want to makes lots of catty remarks about the Wheel spinning in time with our (mis)fortunes. But, of course, such morally Bankrupt joking might cause us to Lose A Turn.
