Notes on Jazz Fest's 2016 Changes

Change is often frowned down upon in New Orleans, especially change at Jazz Fest. On Friday (4.22), the iconic festival kicked off with a few new tweaks. By “tweaks,” we primarily mean the addition of large, green bleachers in the outfield. Controversial form the point of announcement, the new additions proved positive in their debut.

Not a carnival person? Would you rather that your dog skip Barkus and instead focus on training for a big race. Well, if your dog is a wiener dog, you’re in luck. The Fair Grounds Race Course & Slots announced that wiener dog racing will return for a third year on March 5th.
