NOPD Releases Surveillance Footage of French Quarter Rape Suspect


The New Orleans Police Department (NOPD) Special Victims division released a surveillance video of an unknown male suspect in connection with a sexual assault in the French Quarter. As NoDef previously reported, the incident occurred during the early morning hours of April 16 on the 1400 block of Chartres Street. 


Friday Morning Auto Theft (Video)


Friday (3.04) morning, video from Project NOLA captured footage showing a man stealing a minivan from a driveways on the 2400 block of Columbus Street. The New Orleans Police Department (NOPD) is seeking public assistance finding the suspect.


Subway Stickup Suspect Sought


Jared is not the only criminal associated with Subway. The New Orleans Police Department (NOPD) are reaching out to the public for help finding a suspect wanted for robbing the sandwich shop’s franchise on the 3600 block of MacArthur Drive.    


Suspects ID'd in East Mugging


On Monday (2.01), a man was muggers in the East. After a week of investigations, the New Orleans Police Department (NOPD) released photos of the suspects and asked the public’s help in tracking them down.

A suspect has been named in connection with the robbery of a local McDonald’s. According to the New Orleans Police Department (NOPD), he’s a real Hamburglar. 30-year-old Christopher Simms is wanted for the with the January 15th stickup as well as several other Armed Robberies.


Suspect Student Snagged in Uptown Burglaries


The New Orleans Police Department (NOPD) are on a roll. On Thursday (1.21), police locked up a 22-year-old Tulane student accused of perpetrating a series of home invasions Uptown.

A recent robbery allegedly involved a stun gun instead of a firearm, but the results were just as criminal. Now, the New Orleans Police Department (NOPD) is seeking the public’s help in catching the perp.

Everyone loves Popeye’s. Well almost everyone. The New Orleans Police Department are seeking the public’s help in finding a man accused of robbing the Popeye’s on the 3100 block of South Carrollton Avenue.

Around 6p.m., the victim was enjoying some adult gaming at the Casino (#8 Canal Street) when he joined the ranks of the many who realize they have fewer valuables than when they entered said building according to the NOPD. Authorities said that the suspect slyly stole the man’s cellphone and credit cards.

During Hollywood South’s boom years, the CBD’s banks served as sets for a few bank robbery movies like “American Heist.” On Monday (1.04), a bank in the area was the scene of a real life heist.
