Crime Bits: CBD Rape, Shootings in 7th, 9th Wards


Police are investigating a quartet of violent crimes that took place in New Orleans on Tuesday. A fight started with a weight and ended with a knife in the 7th Ward. Later, men were shot in the 7th and 9th wards. NOPD is also investigating the rape of a 15-year-old girl that was reported in the CBD. Click through for details:

New Orleans police booked a 25-year-old woman with attempted first-degree murder and aggravated assault in connection a double stabbing in New Orleans East Friday morning.


3 Killed in Violent Sunday, Nightclub Stabbing Investigated


Three people were killed Sunday night, and two men were stabbed in the French Quarter and CBD over the weekend in New Orleans, according to New Orleans police. A cab driver was among the people killed in an apparent robbery on Sunday night, according to police.
