Today in NOLA: 1.10.15

Lots to do this Saturday in NOLA, y'all. Round off the Battle of New Orleans Bicentennial celebrations by heading out to historic Chalmette Battlefield for the last day of festivities. Get down to St. Claude for Second Saturdays, when art galleries open to the public. A "Fun-Raiser" requires dancing shoes to support the Krewe of Robyn. Bela Fleck joins forces with the Louisiana Philharmonic again this week at the CAC. Comic Con 2015 continues. On this day in 1812, the first steamboat made to navigate the meandering waters of the Mississippi arrived in New Orleans and was dubbed "The New Orleans" after its home port. Now, more events to do this Saturday.
