I’m one of those coffee shop writers. Over the years I have met individuals who have expanded my awareness and become connections for new jobs, events, and experiences, whilst enjoying the caffeinated brews. The burgeoning importance of women in Carnival will be the focus of discussion at Loyola University on Monday (2.9).

Fare Deal: Cabbie Wanted After Allegedly Attempting to Extort Sex for Ride

Many cabbies are still angry about city ordinances allowing Uber and requiring the use of credit card machines. However, one driver allegedly found a new way to let passengers pay the fare. The New Orleans Police Department (NOPD) are on the hunt for 21 year old Saqib Shahzad (pictured) in connection with a pandering and extortion investigation.
