Dems, Maness Blast Cassidy Over Bailout Flip Flop


Opposition to the 2008 “Wall Street Bail Out” crossed party lines in Louisiana, with Senator Mary Landrieu and Senator David Vitter both coming out in favor of big business’ right to fail. However, Senate hopeful Bill Cassidy voiced his support of the bailout five years ago, only to change his tune come election season. Now, Dems and Col. Rob Maness (R) are coming out against Cassidy's flip flop.    


Cassidy Gave to Campaigns for Landrieu, Democrats, Records Show


As they campaign for the GOP nod to challenge U.S. Senator Mary Landrieu next fall, Congressman Bill Cassidy and Rob Maness will be pulling in plenty of contributions. But a look at Cassidy's recent past shows that he's been generous with campaign dollars to many other political campaigns, like those of Democrat Mary Landrieu.


Rob Maness Joins Senate Race Against Landrieu, Cassidy


The race for U.S. Senate is a year and a half away, but that is nothing in yellow dog years. Candidates will continue launching their campaigns to win the seat from Senator Mary Landrieu, and right-wing Colonel Rob Maness came out of left field with his announcement, ensuring a Republic primary election.
