Big Sam Opens Harvest the Music Series in Lafayette Square by Brad Rhines In a city where the changing of the seasons is marked by food and festivals, the kickoff of the annual Harvest the Music concert series this Wednesday means it must be fall. The free concerts take place weekly at Lafayette Square from 5:00-7:30 p.m., starting this week, September 14, and running through November 2. Every Wednesday is like a mid-week festival, with food booths, beer trucks, art vendors, and live local music drawing big crowds to the CBD. Click through to see this year's lineup.
