Chronopalooza Lineup Drop


Great Scott! NOLA’s sci-fi scene is so large that there is not enough time to take it all in. Fortunately, time is exactly what’s at the center of a June fest. Today, the lineup dropped for Chronopalooza NOLA Time Fest IV, an annual celebration of Dr. Who and time travel.


Chewbacchus Awakens: 2016 Route Released


Who is Kylo Ren really? Where is Luke? What's up with the new lightsabers? There are a lot of questions in the sci-fi world these days. However, the Intergalactic Krewe of Chewbacchus answered a few of their own this morning. The science fiction (and fantasy) themed carnival organization announced a new route and time today.

SciFi Krewe Ready to Chewburnitall



The planet Kashyyyk is home to the wookies. The Nevada desert is home to Burning Man. But, only New Orleans can call themselves home to the first annual IGNITION:Chewburnitall. The three day art, music, and science extravaganza from the Intergalactic Krewe of Chewbacchus is set to lift off October 15th through 18th.

In their brief existence, the Intergalactic Krewe of Chewbacchus has delivered sci-fi Carnival parades, fashion shows and the man who played Chewbacca himself to the nerds. Despite this expansion at light speed, there's still room for growth. Now, the Krewe has ventured to hip-hop. Click through to view the results.
