After a few years in diaspora, Southern Rep will once again have a home. On Thursday (2.19), the local theatre company along with Rose Community Development Corporation and Alembic Community Development announced that the vacant St. Rose de Lima Church (2545 Bayou Road) in Mid-City will renovated into a performing arts center for Southern Rep.

(By the Glass), a pop-up wine bar which will feature Rosé wines selected by Joe Briand and gourmet food pairings by Chef Adam Biderman. Downriver on St. Charles Ave., the Avenue Pub hosts a release party for NOLA Brewing Co.’s summer seasonal offering, Hurricane Saison.
