Comedian Kevin Barnett Recounts Birthday Robbery in NOLA


New York based comedian Kevin Barnett might not be looking to laissez les bon temps rouler in New Orleans anytime soon. On Thursday, Barnett recounted in hilarious detail on an episode of the Cave Comedy Radio podcast The Roundtable of Gentlemen how his birthday celebration in the Big Easy left him empty-handed. 


Overnight Crime Report: Three Aggravated Batteries, Two Robberies, Attempted Theft, Homicide


On Wednesday (3.1), the New Orleans Police Department (NOPD) responded to three cases of aggravated battery (two by cutting, one by shooting), one armed robbery, one attempted armed robbery, a simple robbery, and one homicide according to the Major Offense Log (MOL). 


Overnight Crime Report: Homicide, Cabby Robbed, Maple Street Books Robbed


Nine crimes filled the Major Offense Log (MOL) for Thursday (3.31). The New Orleans Police Department (NOPD) are investigating felonies including a homicide, a robbed cabbie, a stickup at Maple Street Books, and several muggings.


Overnight Crime Report: Shootings, Stabbings, Muggings in the Quarter


Crime jumped up again on Thursday (3.10) adoring to the Major Offense Log (MOL). The New Orleans Police Department (NOPD) responded to an unclassified death as well as eight crimes including shootings, stabbings, domestic violence, and two muggings in the heart of the Quarter.


Overnight Crime Report: Fatal Wreck, Shootings, Rape, Kendall the Devil


The NOPD’s Major Offense Log (MOL) for Saturday (3.05) includes a long roster of wrongdoing. The police reported that a crook called “Kendall the Devil” is running rampant, two shootings, a college student’s suicide, a juvenile rape, a mugged cabbie, and a fatal four car accident.


Subway Stickup Suspect Sought


Jared is not the only criminal associated with Subway. The New Orleans Police Department (NOPD) are reaching out to the public for help finding a suspect wanted for robbing the sandwich shop’s franchise on the 3600 block of MacArthur Drive.    


Overnight Crime Report


New Orleans’ crime issues showed no signs of abatement on Saturday (2.13) and Sunday (2.14) morning according to the New Orleans Police Department (NOPD). The Department’s Major Offense Log included an armed robbery at a local department store, a carjacked Uber driver, and a couple of attempted homicides.


Police ID Hamburglar


A suspect has been named in connection with the robbery of a local McDonald’s. According to the New Orleans Police Department (NOPD), he’s a real Hamburglar. 30-year-old Christopher Simms is wanted for the with the January 15th stickup as well as several other Armed Robberies.


ATM Stickup


A recent robbery allegedly involved a stun gun instead of a firearm, but the results were just as criminal. Now, the New Orleans Police Department (NOPD) is seeking the public’s help in catching the perp.


Person of Interest Sought in St. Claude Stickup


The New Orleans Police Department continued their policy of aggressively seeking “persons of interest” today. These individuals are not classified as suspects, but rather as potential sources of information in a case. In this case, the case involves a woman mugged at an ATM on the 2400 block of St. Claude.
