NoDef Numbers: July 19-26Last week, a skyscraper's low bid was less than a double shotgun, Rep. Cedric Richmond dazzled - at baseball, and, as ever, underage drinking was found at a place with "frat" in its name. Like the Paw Paw Bandit, NoDef Numbers tend to show up around the same time each week, but we never wear the same colors. Click through for an illuminated look at the facts and figures behind the week's news. Tequila Joins Tuna in Jail After Bringing Stolen Cash for BailAfter his arrest for robbing a Raceland bank on July 4 weekend, the Bad Hatter was split from his girlfriend, Tequila Guidry. But Guidry hatched a plan to spring her man, who's real name is Richard "Tuna" Kiser" from the joint. According to WWL Radio, she took the heist loot down to the jail, and tried to post bail. But, detectives were waiting outside, where they were nabbed her and the money. That awful Mardi Gras hat, on the other hand, is still on the lam. Bad Hatter: 'Tuna' Bagged After Raceland Bank HeistAs any seasoned veteran of Mardi Gras can tell you, a weak costume only makes you standout. Richard "Tuna" Kiser learned the lesson first hand this week when he robbed a bank in Raceland disguised only in one of those cheesy, dime-a-dozen hats that say "Mardi Gras" in big letters. The 25-year-old got away from a Chase branch Thursday with all of its 50 and 100-dollar bills, but was apprehended in less than 24 hours because of surveillance video that clearly showed his face. Someone should've consulted Cree McCree. |
