On this day in 1949, Elisha Archibald Manning III (better known as Archie) was born. Manning played for the Saints from 1971 to 1982 and sired two sons, Peyton and Eli. Spin to Win: Redbull Thre3style Showcases Local DJ's

On Saturday, five of New Orleans' top deejays will square off at Republic (828 S. Peters) for a chance to win a global competition. “Red Bull Thre3style,” is giving local artists a chance to spin to stardom. DJ Spin, Beverly Skillz ( the only female contestant), Quickie Mart, DJ Jive, and DJ Mike Swift will compete, and Mannie Fresh will host the event.
