Watch: Anthony Davis on Jimmy Kimmel Live

Last night, Anthony Davis appeared on late night talk show Jimmy Kimmel Live to discuss everything from pet monkeys, his clothing line, and how he secures his position as power forward (we bet you can't guess how). Watch the clips below.

Today, raise funds for a good cause by cuddling baby farm animals (we know, the sacrifices that one makes in life). Boogie and the Brow aim to dominate the Chicago Bulls. Pagoda Cafe offers a night of pho and DJ music, while Le Petit Théâtre hosts a night of improv-scripted comedy theatre. On this day in 1880, the Louisiana Western Railroad brought the first produce ever delivered by rail to Lake Charles. Now, more lazy Sunday happenings.

Tonight, venture down Frenchmen to see the Jazz Vipers and the Uptown Jazz Orchestra both do their thing. Or, indulge your 90s nostalgia and see alt-rockers Jimmy Eat World perform at the Joy Theater. On this day in history, the first franchise season ticket to the New Orleans Saints was purchased in 1967. Now, more to do this Wednesday.

Broken beads still line the streets, but Carnival chaos is over until 2018. Ash Wednesday is being honored across the city, and a number of film screenings, art receptions, and singer showcases are occurring tonight. On this day in 1967, NOLA District Attorney Jim Garrison arrested Clay Shaw on the charge of conspiracy to assassinate JFK. Now, more to do this Wednesday.

It's a new era for the Pelicans, with DeMarcus Cousins making his debut with the team tonight following a massive NBA trade. An illuminated bicycle parade rolled during Carnival on this day in 1887. Celebrate this 130 year anniversary by hitting up Knights of Babylon, Chaos or Muses — all parading along the Uptown-St. Charles route. Read on for more tonight.

Tonight, get retro at Lakefront Arena with Vanilla Ice and friends or check out AD and the Birds at the other arena. If you’re looking for local music, check out some brass on Frenchmen or Colin Lake in the Quarter. On this day in 1811, five men were selected to draft a new Louisiana constitution. Now, more to do this Friday.

Hoop Schemes

The Pelicans will most likely not be making a trip to the playoffs this year. However, New Orleans hoops squad will be making a trip to China in the fall. On Tuesday (3.29) night, the NBA announced that the Pels and the Houston Rockets will face off in a pair of Asian exhibition matches.

Melo's Little Friend (Video)

The Pelicans notched the rare win last night defeating the NY Knicks 99-91. However, the highlight of the evening might have been when Knickerbockers superstar Carmelo Anthony received an unexpected on court visit from a child.

Low Brow: Davis Could Lose 23 MIl

Anthony Davis’ season came to a disappointing end on Sunday (3.20) when the Pelicans announced that the franchise’s star is done for the season due to injury. The Brow is most likely just as frustrated as Birds fans whose playoff hopes are all but destroyed at this point. After all, Davis stands to lose 23 million dollars on account of his early departure.

Brow Breaks Records & the Internet

On Sunday (2.21) night, Anthony Davis branded his name into the NBA record books. The Pelican posted and pulled down 20 rebounds. Ina addition to topping the franchise scoring list, he became only the third player in the last 50 years post 55 points and 20 rebounds in a single game. Such gaudy stats elicited analysis from media beyond the sporting world.
