Today, B.B. King teaches us how to blues in Louis Armstrong Park, and Painted Palms join STRFKR at One Eyed Jack's for an evening of electronica. On this day in Louisiana history, Louis Armstrong, Benny Goodman and the Duke Ellington Orchestra graced the stage of Municipal Auditorium all at once in 1945. Making a special guest appearance was Sidney Bechet, in his first New Orleans appearance in a quarter-century. Here's a couple of today's returns:
