Oyster Jubilee Brings 340 ft. Po-Boy to Bourbon St. "Why, then the world's mine oyster, which I with sword will open," said William Shakespere in the Merry Wives of Windsor. This weekend, hundreds of swords will be employed on thousands of oysters in the French Quarter - and getting a taste won't require that long Acme Oyster House line that the Bard never mentioned. Heaven is a Shuck: 340-ft. Oyster Poor Boy Coming to Bourbon As Brett Anderson learned recently, you can log some serious mileage trying to track down all of New Orleans' best po-boys. But this weekend on Bourbon St., there will be a rare opportunity to taste all of the city's best oyster practitioners in one place. Starting at 10 a.m. Saturday, the 5th Annual Oyster Jubilee will gather more than two dozen erster specialists to construct a 340 ft. po-boy. That's about the distance from home plate to the right field fence in Zephyr Field, for those keeping score at home.
