Beat on the Baraat: Bhangra Funk, New Orleans AfroCuban Highlight Congo Square Fest

The newly reopened Louis Armstrong Park will be host to the 6th annual Congo Square New World Rhythms Festival on this Saturday and Sunday, March 23 and 24. Alongside local musicians, two Brooklyn based performance groups—the electrifying, bhangra funk band Red Baarat and percussionist and singer Pedrito Martinez—will be headlining the festival.
