Rap and Porn Icon Kool Keith Opens Up During Surprise NOLA StopJust over ten days after Mardi Gras 2012, legendary perverted New York rapper Kool Keith played a last minute 2am New Orleans show at the tiny Dragon’s Den on Frenchmen Street, on his way out to a bigger performance at the 5th Annual Arizona Pornstar Ball industry function. Ten years ago, Keith filled the big room at New Orleans’ House of Blues with the likes of Nine Inch Nails' Trent Reznor in the audience. Odd Future Voodoo 'Attack' Fallout: Denials, Apologies, Misogyny AccusationsGuaranteeing that their name would live to be uttered around town for another post-Voodoo day, Odd Future denied reports that they attacked photographers from the City Park fest's main stage over the weekend, Rolling Store reports. The hip-hop group's Left Brain allegedly hit photographer Amy Harris after issuing a tirade about how photographers were keeping the group from their true fans. But, making everything so much more understadable, Left Brain said he wasn't trying to hit photographers, just their really expensive cameras. Voodoo Vice: Ecstasy Dealers Busted, Odd Future Get Their Kicks at City ParkWith the Meters reunion, killer bands from the 80s and plentfiul bathrooms, this Voodoo fest might go down as the one that built a bridge to the older crowd. But that doesn't mean City Park was completely devoid of the holy trinity of miscreant youthful behavior: drug use, pissing off people who seem older and richer and destroying nice things. Two of these three requirements were accomplished by Los Angeles hip-hop collective, Odd Future (full name: Odd Future Wolf Gang Kill Them All). |
