The Allways welcomes a drag reunion, and Santos Bar invites aspiring performers to take to their stage for an open mic event. It's a survival of the funniest at The New Movement, while Instant Opus returns to the Hi-Ho. On this day in 1948, a devastating hurricane with winds up to 90 MPH hit New Orleans, creating extensively damage but thankfully no loss of life. Forecasters began naming hurricanes in 1950.
