Today in NOLA: 4.07.16

French Quarter Fest starts tonight. And, that’s just the beginning of the local music options. An awards show is honoring NOLA musicians, the Ogden is hosting After Hours, and lots of locals are playing regular gigs. On this day in 1997, Wynton Marsalis became the first jazz composer to win a Pulitzer Prize for “Blood on the Fields.” Now, more to do this Thursday.
