Nine Lives: The Musical, Lands on Its Feet Tuesday at Tulane

With imminent disaster a yearly (sometimes weekly) expectation in New Orleans, the question “So why do you stay?” has perplexed outsiders since Bienville founded our swampy little colony. In his bestselling book Nine Lives: Mystery, Magic, Death and Life in New Orleans, author Dan Baum used interlocking narratives to show why the city is worth fighting for. Tomorrow night at Tulane, a group of local musicians and actors will show once again that it's also worth singing about.

Spanning neighborhoods and genres, Fringe kicked off with a KABLAM! Wednesday night.
